Mike Hooker Leaving Denver’s KCNC After 17 Years

Mike Hooker, a reporter for Denver CBS O&O KCNC, is leaving the station for a job at Colorado State University.

Hooker is a 22-year veteran of television, including 17 years at KCNC, according to a statement from Colorado State. He will begin in his new role, as executive director of public affairs and communications, on February 20.

Hooker is the station’s Northern newsroom reporter. He announced the news of his departure on Twitter earlier today.
