Morning Anchor Kim Carrigan Out At Boston’s WFXT
Morning anchor Kim Carrigan has been let go from Boston Fox O&O WFXT.
Carrigan, who anchors the 4:30 to 9 a.m. newscast alongside Gene Lavanchy, joined the station in 2004. WFXT sources say she was informed after the show today that this morning’s broadcast would be her last.
A Fox spokesperson told TVSpy Carrigan’s contract was not renewed.
Until a permanent replacement for Carrigan is named, the station will rotate WFXT talent to fill the morning anchor spot.
