No, Hurricane Isaac Did Not Hit Southern California
Parts of Southern California are dealing with another heat wave today, but if you watched part of KTTV’s 10 O’Clock news last night, you might have thought Hurricane Isaac had arrived. Anchor Liz Habib wanted to show how big Hurricane Isaac was so she “juxtaposed” the radar on a map of California.
“Just to give you some idea, give you a little perspective, I took this and I juxtaposed it on top of California. If it were here, it would stretch from Los Angeles to San Francisco, just a massive hurricane moving very slowly.”
Yes, massive. Also 1,900 miles away.
