[NSFW] Regional Sports Network Shows Fake Cubs Mascot in All His Drawn Glory

When Comcast Sportsnet Washington aired a story about the Chicago Cubs new mascot, someone forgot to ask why he wasn’t wearing any pants and why the team would render his genitalia in such frightening detail.

The image was actually from a contest Deadspin held inviting readers to “Do Something Horrible to the Cubs’ New, Perverted Mascot [NSFW].”

According to the site, Gawker art director Jim Cooke started everyone off. Then Comcast showed it to its viewers.
