KYW anchor Pat Ciarrochi celebrated her 30th anniversary with the Philadelphia CBS O&O today.

On “Talk Philly” this morning, Ciarrochi announced the establishment of a $1,000 journalism scholarship in her name at two schools — Padua Academy in Wilmington, DE and Neumann University in Aston, PA.

“I wanted to do something that was maybe a little different to celebrate my 30th anniversary,” she said. “So this is what I decided to do.”

“That’s a wonderful thing,” co-host Ukee Washington said. “So many people have watched you. So many people on my Facebook page, and yours, wanting to say congratulations.”
