Reporter Brad Edwards Cut Loose At WISH

TVSpy hears Brad Edwards, an investigative reporter at WISH in Indianapolis, was fired yesterday after only a year at the station.

NewsBlues reports Edwards was escorted from the building. He last appeared on the 6 p.m. newscast yesterday, reporting on fraud in the fund for the victims of Indianapolis’ State Fair tragedy earlier this year.

Edwards’ bio is no longer up on the WISH website. An email from TVSpy to his WISH email address immediately bounced back with a delivery status failure notification.

WISH news director Patti McGettigan did not respond to a request for comment.
