After Leaving WNYW, Reporter Katherine Creag Pops Up at WNBC

Reporter Katherine Creag, who left WNYW in October after 5 years with the Fox-affiliate, has joined crosstown rival WNBC.

“It’s great here,” Creag told FishbowlNY. “I already knew a lot of the morning photographers and reporters because I had seen them out in the field, when I reported for Fox 5.”

Creag is a veteran of the New York market, having worked as a reporter for 24-hour news channel NY1 before joining WNYW.

According to FishbowlNY, Creag joined WNBC as a freelancer on January 17 and has mostly been appearing on the station’s morning newscasts.
