Seavert, who has been working as a general assignment reporter at the CBS O&O in Minneapolis-St. Paul since 2010, started work at the market’s NBC-affiliate this week.
“It’s been a lifelong dream to work at WCCO-TV, and it’s truly been an honor to be a part of the team,” Seavert wrote on her Facebook page. “But with much thought, I’ve decided to follow a reporting opportunity at KARE.”
Monday was Seavert’s first day at KARE. No word yet on when she’ll make her on-air debut.
