Rhiannon Ally Named Morning Anchor at WFOR
Rhiannon Ally has been named morning anchor at WFOR, the CBS O&O in Miami.
Ally joins WFOR from another CBS O&O, New York City’s WCBS, on February 13. She will co-anchor the 5-7 a.m. newscast alongside Jawan Strader.
Ally replaces Marybel Rodriguez, who has been filling in as co-anchor on the morning newscast for several months. In a statement announcing Ally’s hire, WFOR vice president and general manager Adam Levy said Rodriguez will continue to anchor the noon newscast, calling her “an important part of our news team.”
Ally’s husband, Mike Marza, is an anchor at rival WSVN, the Miami Fox-affiliate.
