Ron Corning is on the move. The anchor at News 12 Long Island is heading to the big “D” where he’ll be the co-anchor of the morning show at ABC affiliate WFAA.

Corning has most recently anchored at News 12 Long Island and before that anchored mornings at WNYW (Fox5) in New York. Before joining Fox5, Corning anchored ABC’s “World News Now” and “World News This Morning.”

On Twitter, Corning wrote, “I’m excited to make #Dallas home! I’m joining WFAA’s ‘Daybreak’ at the end of April.”
