Sue Simmons Signing Off From WNBC June 15
Sue Simmons‘s final day on WNBC will be June 15th.
The popular anchor, who has been delivering the news on NBC’s flagship station for the past three decades, will bid farewell to viewers next week and sign off for the final time on WNBC’s 11 p.m. newscast next Friday, according to FishbowlNY.
In March, news broke that WNBC had decided not to renew Simmons’s contract, which expires this month. Simmons, 69, is on vacation this week.
