San Antonio CBS-affiliate KENS was forced into damage control mode on Sunday after its feed of a lopsided Cowboys game was switched to a more competitive contest.
“We know we had some angry viewers today,” KENS sports anchor Vinnie Vinzetta said at the top of his segment during the station’s 10 p.m. newscast on Sunday. “The Dallas Cowboy game went away before the fourth quarter with Dallas leading 34 to 7. That was a decision made by the CBS Network, that was not a KENS5 decision. We hugely apologize for the situation nonetheless.” Read more
