Cynthia Lee Leaving KABB

cynthia_lee_photoCynthia Lee is leaving San Antonio FOX affiliate KABB to spend more time with her family and “shift her career in a new direction.”

“Many people may not realize I’m a licensed Realtor,” Lee said in a statement. “I have been juggling two careers and motherhood for quite some time.”

According to the station, Lee will work full-time for one of the top commercial real estate brokerages in San Antonio. Her last day at KABB will be Wednesday, May 21.

“It’s been a real privilege for Cynthia to be a part of the FOX San Antonio family and to watch her grow as a broadcast professional,” KABB GM Dean Radla said. “I’m confident that she will enjoy similar success as she turns the page on her broadcast career and launches her new career in commercial real estate. We wish her only the best.”

Three Years After Leaving KABB, Cynthia Lee Rejoins Station as Weekend Anchor

KABB has re-hired Cynthia Lee as a reporter and weekend anchor, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.

Lee spent seven years anchoring the evening newscasts for the San Antonio Fox-affiliate. She left in 2009 and has spent the past three years producing segments on Fox Sports Southwest.

“KABB was very good to me the first time around,” Lee said. “I believe in the people and the product. It was a no brainer to go back and I can’t believe I even get my old desk.”

Lee will anchor the weekend evening newscasts with Ted Garcia when she rejoins the station on April 9. She replaces Mileka Lincoln, who joined Austin’s KEYE this week.
