Jonathan Athens joins KARK in Little Rock from KPTM in Omaha. He will be the station’s political reporter.

Dan Williamson joins WDIO in Duluth as sports director. He previously held the same position at KXMB in Bismarck, ND.

Jennifer Dowling joins WXMI in Grand Rapids as a freelance reporter. Previously, Dowling worked at rival WWMT.

Athens, Williamson and Dowling are represented by David Brunner of DB & Associates.

Dan Williamson Named Sports Director at WDIO

Dan Williamson has joined Duluth ABC-affiliate WDIO as sports director.

Williamson joins the station from Lifetouch Media Productions in Minneapolis, where he was a reporter, photographer and producer. He has previously been a sports and news anchor at KSAX in Alexandria, MN and sports director at KXMB in Bismarck, ND.

“Dan is a great addition to our staff,” assistant news director Jon Ellis said in a statement. “With his experience in the Midwest, he brings a good understanding of what our viewers are looking for in sports coverage.” Read more

Lydia Pantazes joins KEYE in Austin, TX as an anchor and reporter. She was previously at KCOY-KKFX in Santa Maria, CA.

KOLO’s Daniel Chanin will leave the Reno station and move to KGO in San Francisco, where he will report, anchor, and produce sports.

Dan Williamson moves from KXMB in Bismarck, ND, to WEYI in Flint, MI, where he will be a sports reporter.

Aaron Luna joins KXLY in Spokane as a reporter and weekend meteorologist. He comes from KKCO in Grand Junction, CO.
