WMAQ anchor Stefan Holt is teaming up with his father, NBC News anchor Lester Holt, on the NBC O&O’s noon newscast Friday.

Lester Holt worked at WBBM, the CBS O&O in Chicago, for 14 years before joining MSNBC in 2000. He is currently weekend anchor for “NBC Nightly News” and the anchor of “Dateline.” Stefan Holt joined WMAQ as weekend morning anchor in May 2011 and was promoted to weekday morning anchor three months later.
