Drew Petrimoulx Headed to Little Rock’s KARK-KLRT

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting Drew Petrimoulx will join Little Rock, AR, stations KARK and KLRT.

“One reason I’m going is because it’s the state capital, and I have the chance to report on politics,” Petrimoulx told the Sentinel. “The concentration on politics drew me there.”

Petrimoulx left Orlando’s ABC affiliate WFTV in January. He starts at KARK and KLRT in two weeks. “I really appreciated the opportunity that WFTV game me,” Petrimoulx said. “I grew up there. I’m going to miss the people and the relationships.” Read more

Drew Petrimoulx Out at WFTV

Drew Petrimoulx is out at Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Sentinel said Petrimoulx told them he “had several opportunities in the works and didn’t want to discuss his next move until it’s finalized.”

Petrimoulx began working full-time for WFTV in 2011 after reporting part time for the TV station in addition to working for Orlando radio station WDBO.

Longtime Anchor Ken Tyndall Returns to WFTV

Ken Tyndall, who spent 14 years as an anchor and reporter for WFTV, is returning to the Orlando ABC-affiliate.

“I am working one day a week at Channel 9 in addition to my regular reporting duties at WDBO,” Tyndall told the Orlando Sentinel.  “Both stations are part of the Cox Media Group.  It’s the best of both worlds for me, reporting for radio and TV!  It’s great to be able to work with so many old friends at Channel 9.”

Tyndall left WFTV in 1996 and currently works full-time as a reporter-anchor for Orlando news radio station WDBO. Read more
