On the Move, 2/2/12

Bob Beard is the new 5 and 7 p.m. anchor at Charlottesville triopoly WCAV-WVAW-WAHU.  Beard was formerly a correspondent with NBC, CNBC, and CNN.

Suzanne Wilson joins WCAV-WVAW-WAHU as a weekend meteorologist and reporter.  Wilson is a recent graduate of North Carolina State and a former intern at WRAL in Raleigh.

Lesley Martin joins KPIX as a producer. She comes to San Francisco from Denver, where she was the 10 p.m. producer at KMGH.

Kristin Byrne joins WEWS in Cleveland as a general assignment/multimedia reporter.  Previously, Byrne worked at WBAY in Green Bay. Read more

On the Move, 3/9/11

Anchor Alyson Courtney has left Little Rock’s KTHV to join crosstown rival KATV. Courtney joined KTHV in 2003 and has been anchoring the CBS-affiliate’s morning newscast, which is locked in a close ratings race with KATV’s morning show.

Emily Baucum moves to CBS-affiliate KOTV in Tulsa where she will be a general assignment reporter. A graduate of Northwestern University, Baucum most recently worked at the CBS Affiliate in Springfield, MO.

Baucum is represented by Mort Meisner Associates.

Anthony Arbucias has been named general sales manager at Milwaukee’s WISN. He comes to the ABC-affiliate from WBAL in Baltimore, where he served as local sales manager.
