FOX Chicago Duopoly Names Norman Lee National Sales Manager

wfld32WFLD-WPWR has named Norman Lee National Sales Manager.

This is a move within FOX Television Stations for Lee, who was a sales account executive at FOX Station Sales in New York. Before coming to FOX, he was an AE for HRP in Chicago. Lee has also worked at WPIX in New York and at Heitner Weiss.

“In Norman’s seven years with FOX Stations Sales he has demonstrated a superior knowledge of our business, a skill for delivering consistent and high quality results, as well as an unyielding work ethic, all of which I’m looking forward to having here in Chicago,” WFLD GSM Glenn Berk said in a statement.

Glenn Berk Named GSM of WFLD

wfld32Chicago FOX owned station WFLD has named Glenn Berk VP and general sales manager.

“Glenn has proven himself to be a strong sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results,” said WFLD VP and GM Dennis Welsh. “His breadth of experience along with his strategic and motivational approach make him the ideal choice to guide our sales team to the next level of success.”

Berk will oversee “all station sales initiatives” for WFLD and MyNetworkTV affiliate WPWR.

Berk comes to WFLD from WHBQ, the FOX owned station in Memphis, TN. He has also worked as national sales manager at FOX’s WTXF in Philadelphia and as an account executive at FOX Stations Sales in New York.

On the Move, 10/20/11

Cory Hepola has accepted a sports anchor-reporter position at KVUE in Austin.  Hepola moves to Texas from Rochester, NY, where he covered sports for WROC.

Meteorologist Curtis Grevenitz is joining KTVX in Salt Lake City. After spending the past three years with WFSB in Hartford, Grevenitz will reportedly change his name to “Curtis Ray” when he begins at KTVX.

Glenn Berk has been named vice president and general sales manager at WHBQ in Memphis.  Berk comes to WHBQ from fellow Fox O&O WTXF in Philadelphia.
