KSNV Adds 7 p.m. Newscast, Shuffles Fall Anchor Lineup
KSNV will debut a 7 p.m. newscast and shuffle its anchor lineup this fall, the Las Vegas NBC affiliate announced today.
The 7 p.m. newscast will be anchored by Jim Synder and Jessica Moore, who currently anchor the 5 and 11 p.m. newscasts. The pair will continue to anchor the 5 p.m. newscast.
In place of Synder and Moore at 11 p.m., Reed Cowan, who currently anchors at 4 p.m., will add the 11 p.m. newscast to his schedule. He will anchor alongside Mackenzie Warren, who is currently a KSNV reporter.
Weekend evening anchor Gerard Ramalho will move to weekdays, anchoring the 6 p.m. newscast alongside Marie Mortera. On weekends, Krystal Allen moves from mornings to evenings. Michelle Velez will be the new weekend morning anchor.
“These are very exciting times at News 3 as KSNV prepares to launch the only 7:00 p.m. newscast in southern Nevada,” VP-GM Lisa Howfield said in a statement. “We are genuinely thrilled to expand our news operation to cover all the important stories with a team of dedicated journalists in the field and at the anchor desk.”
“Ralston Reports,” which currently airs at 7:30 p.m., will shift an hour earlier to 6:30 p.m.
The full anchor lineup is in KSNV’s press release after the jump. Read more
