FOX Stations Partner with LiveRail

Fox-2FOX Television Stations is partnering with LiveRail to monetize display and video impressions across its owned station group.

“By adding LiveRail to our digital video programmatic solution, the FOX TV Stations Group extends our existing platform to better enable advertisers to target desired consumers of our video content in the credible and brand-safe environment,” said Joe Oulvey, EVP of FOX Stations Sales.

LiveRail was recently bought by facebook for $400 to $500 million, reports Techcrunch. Its press release says it sets “the standard for innovative video advertising technology solutions.” The company counts Univision, PBS, MLB.com, Conde Nast, CBS Interactive, ABC Family, A+E Networks and Gannett among its customers.

Fox Television Stations Close Deal with Google and Vindico

Fox-2Fox Television Stations have closed a deal with Google’s DoubleClick Ad Exchange and Vindico to monetize web videos across their O&O group. The Fox Television Stations say they will now have the power to target their ads to specific segments of their online audience.

“Our partnership with Google and Vindico will bring impactful, brand-safe local impressions to a broader marketplace, ”Joe Oulvey, executive vice president of Fox stations sales, said in a statement.

“We’re excited about the promise of programmatic technology to dramatically grow the marketplace for premium video, display and mobile,” added Laurent Cordier, managing director of partner business solutions at Google. “Having top-tier players like Fox TV embrace this model is great for the entire ecosystem, and we’re happy to partner with them as they make this shift.”

Joe Oulvey Named EVP of Fox Station Sales

Joe Oulvey has been named executive vice president of Fox Station Sales, responsible for overseeing the national sales efforts for all 28 Fox O&Os. He replaces Patrick Paolini, who was recently named VP-GM for WTTG, the Fox O&O in Washington, D.C.

Oulvey was most recently the EVP of Ad Sales for Twentieth Television. Before that, he was SVP of Fox Station Sales.

“I am pleased to welcome Joe back to FSS. I know he will continue his record of success in providing our station group with exceptional national representation,” Fox Television Stations president of sales Jim Burke said in a statement.

Fox Names Patrick Paolini SVP Of Station Sales

Patrick Paolini will take over as senior vice president of Fox station sales on October 3. He will be responsible for overseeing sales at the 27 Fox O&Os and will report to Jim Burke, Fox’s president of sales.

For the past two years, Paolini has been the vice president and general manager of WTXF, Fox’s O&O in Philadelphia. Prior to that, he was the vice president and director of sales at WNYW, Fox’s O&O in New York City.

Paolini replaces Joe Oulvey, who was recently named executive vice president for ad sales at 20th Television.
