Caitlin Rearden has joined KHQ in Spokane, Wash. as a weekend anchor. Rearden comes from KBAK-KBFX in Bakersfield, Calif. where she was an anchor/reporter.

Joe Whelan makes a 68 market jump to WJSU-WCFT in Birmingham, Ala. where he will be the weekend sports anchor. Whelan comes from WANE, the CBS station in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Kelly (Reid) Prozialeck returns home to work at WJAC, the NBC affiliate in Johnstown, Pa. Kelly worked as a reporter/anchor at KOAM in Joplin, Mo.

Ric Kearbey joins WICS in Springfield, IL as chief meteorologist. Kearbey previously worked at WMBD and WHOI in Peoria, IL.

Meteorologist Jeff Womack joins Fox-affiliate KXRM in Colorado Springs, from KTVQ in Billings, MT. Womack will work KXRM’s weekend newscasts in addition to reporting during the week.

Joe Whelan is the new weekend sports anchor at WANE in Fort Wayne, IN. Most recently, Whelan worked at KFYR in Bismarck, ND

Keith McMullin has been named CEO of Deseret Management Corp., which owns NBC-affiliate KSL in Salt Lake City.

Womack is represented by Mort Meisner Associates.

WANE’s Ross Kinsey Leaving Sports Anchor Post

WANE‘s Ross Kinsey (pictured) will resign his post as weekend sports anchor today and transition to a full-time photographer at the station.

Kinsey was a photographer for five years at the Fort Wayne, IN CBS-affiliate before being named weekend sports anchor in 2008. He will still fill-in on the air occasionally, according to the station.

The new weekend sports anchor will be Joe Whelan, who joins WANE from KFYR in Bismarck, ND. He will debut April 7.
