Louisville Meteorologist and Reds Fan Does Headless Forecast

Jude Redfield, meteorologist for Louisville FOX affiliate WDRB, was so embarrassed by the Cincinnati Reds loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League wild card game Tuesday night, he didn’t want anyone to see his face, or his head for that matter.

He tweeted a picture of his forecast, “I’m embarrassed to show my face this morning. This hurts!”

“The Reds are my team,” Redfield told TVSpy. “I live and die with them! They just keep choking each year in the playoffs and I don’t know how much more I can take.”

The Reds lost to the Pirates 6-2.

Meteorologist Jude Redfield Set to Join WDRB

Meteorologist Jude Redfield, who recently left Indianapolis’s WTHR, is set to join WDRB, a Fox-affiliate in Louisville.

Redfield, the winner of three Emmys while in Indianapolis, recently confirmed the move on his Facebook page, saying that he starts with WDRB this month.

According to LouisvilleKY.com, Redfield will work mornings for WDRB as the station shuffles its weather roster. Marc Weinberg will move from mornings to evenings and longtime WDRB weathercaster Paul Emmick is departing the station.

Redfield is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and began his TV career at WKAG in Hopkinsville, KY. He is excited to be returning to his roots. “Everything is almost too good right now,” he recently wrote on Facebook.
