Shannon Hori is leaving WFOR in Miami for WAVE in Louisville, where she will be primary anchor. In her new role, she will go by her married name, Shannon Cogan.

After seven months freelancing at KCBS in Los Angeles, Andrea Fujii becomes a full-time staff reporter for the CBS O&O.

Alexandra Limon returns to her native Los Angeles as she joins KTTV. She was previously a reporter for KIRO in Seattle.

Julie Luck joins WFMY in Greensboro as the primary anchor. Luck left rival WGHP last year.

Matt DeLucia jumps 36 markets as he joins WCAU in Philadelphia as a reporter. For the past four years, he has been a reporter at KVVU in Las Vegas. Read more

Julie Luck Joins WFMY as Evening Anchor

WFMY has announced Julie Luck will join Frank Mickens as co-anchor for the Gannett-owned Greensboro, NC, CBS affiliate’s evening news.

“Julie Luck is beloved here, a wonderful person, a hugely popular personality and focused journalist,” said WFMY president and general manager Larry Audas. “WFMY News 2 went from very good to great when she walked in the door.”

Luck will replace Tanya Rivera who will launch “2 Wants to Know,” a daily show airing at 5:30 p.m. the station says “will solve viewer problems, get answers and genuinely help people in these tough times.”

Luck’s first day of anchoring the 5:00, 6:00 and 11:00 p.m. news will be Thursday, April 25. Read more

Katie Nordeen Moves to Evenings at WGHP

Katie Nordeen has been named evening co-anchor at WGHP in Greensboro, N.C., according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Nordeen joined the Fox affiliate in 2010 and was promoted to morning anchor in 2011. Her first night on the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts alongside Neill McNeill is Thursday.

Before joining WGHP, Nordeen worked at WDIO in Duluth, Minn., as an anchor and reporter. She replaces Julie Luck, who left WGHP in September.
