Someone Made a Supercut of KXRM Meteorologist’s Seinfeld References

KXRM‘s Justin Chambers appears to be quite the Seinfeld fan.

So much so, the morning anchor and meteorologist for the Colorado Springs FOX affiliate sprinkles references from the iconic 90s sitcom into his weather reports.

Someone took the time to cut them together into one medium sized Seinfeldian mishmash of one liners and inside jokes. Enjoy.

KXRM Lets Viewers See What the Anchors See During AM News

Colorado Springs FOX affiliate KXRM put a camera behind the anchor desk during the morning news, giving viewers a unique anchor’s eye view.

“When Kimberly [Price] leaves at about 7:55, I always try to do something with her chair” said meteorologist Justin Chambers. “So this time I put cam 4 over here and I want to show you, this is Kimberly’s perspective.”

Viewers finally got to see that behind every studio camera is just a whole lot of messy nothing, branded station banners stuck on a wall and one lone person forced to sit at a desk in the dark.

After His Computer Crashes, Colorado Meteorologist Gets Creative…Again

You may remember morning meteorologist Justin Chambers from the Colorado Springs FOX affiliate KXRM acting out the forecast after his graphics went down last January.

This morning, Chambers tweeted out a picture showing his computer with a blank screen. He told viewers, “This is my weather computer this morning. Watch me pantomime the weather on @FOX21News today.”

After checking with our sources at KXRM we were assured staffers didn’t just turn off Chambers’ computer to force the on-air magic that he brought today.

This morning Chambers gave viewers forecasting techniques that ranged from eating a donut and drinking coffee on-screen, to having a staffer use an iPad to write out the forecast, to dancing, to playing weather charades with his off-screen co-anchor. Enjoy.

From Huh? to Hilarious: A Roundup of How Morning Teams Celebrated Halloween

Countless anchors across the country got into the spirit of Halloween by dressing up in kooky costumes and camping it up. The winners in the broadcasting version of the Halloween Parade continues to be the viewers who witnessed everything from awkward concepts to small moments that were genuinely funny.

The unofficial TVSpy award for the cattiest and most likely to be viewed by the Human Resources department went to Oklahoma City CBS affiliate KWTV. (video above) Anchor Bobbie Miller dressed like Tammy Payne, while Payne dressed like Miller in what came off as a thinly veiled excuse for them to take potshots at each other.

While the two were busy insulting one another, co-anchor Stan Miller scored the sexist remark of the day when he said “I want you to met Bobbie Miller.” He then patted “Miller’s” baby bump and said “Bucking for another 12 weeks off!”

Fake Bobbie Miller summed up the segment after taking a few shots across her bow by telling fake Tammy Payne, “We’re not going to be friends when this show’s over, are we?” Read more

WATCH: Colorado Springs Morning Anchors Give Twerking a Try

It’s the dance sensation that has been sweeping the nation for years. Twerking! Everyone’s doing it, even morning news anchors from KXRM, the FOX affiliate for Colorado Springs, CO.

You have to give meteorologist Justin Chambers and anchor Kimberly Price credit (or props as the kids used to say) for even attempting such a risky move on a morning show. But the two gave what appeared to be an attempt at following a twerking tutorial keyed on the green screen behind them. The most we can say is no one got hurt and we now know which anchor we’re asking to the prom next year.

Colorado Springs Morning Anchors Demolish General Manager’s Office

File this video into the “sometimes it’s just fun to watch people break things” column.

KXRM, The FOX affiliate for Colorado Springs is getting a new newsroom. In the spirit of helping out, the morning news crew of Kimberly Price, Craig Coffey and Justin Chambers thought it would be fun to demolish the office of general manager Steve Dant without him in it, of course. Keep in mind, these are the same anchors who brought us, “Morning Anchors Impersonate Each Other for Opposite Day

Needless to say, no one was injured in the recording of this video except maybe the pride of Chambers who didn’t look to have a whole lot of velocity on that fastball. Read more

VIDEO: KXRM Morning Anchors Impersonate Each Other for ‘Opposite Day’

For those not so enlightened, January 25 is officially “Opposite Day” where everything one says should be the opposite of what one means.

It then stands to reason, Colorado Springs FOX affiliate KXRM must normally put on a conservative and tightly run morning news show since their “Opposite Day” celebration featured a lot of yelling, wild hand gestures and poorly framed weather forecasts.

Morning reporter Craig Coffey did his best Justin Chambers impersonation by appearing at various elevations in front of the weather board yelling, “The rails are off!”  Co-Anchor and meteorologist Chambers did his best impersonation of Coffey by using a lot of hand gestures and hoots of laughter. Co-anchor Kimberly Price played it the straightest by gamely giving the weather a try. Though, TVSpy must say, traffic reporter Dan Cochell‘s appearance seemed flat in a cardboard cut-out sort of way

VIDEO: Colorado Springs Anchor Acts Out When Graphics Go Down

KXRM, the Colorado Springs FOX affiliate, ran into a snafu during the debut of its new graphics. While anchors Kimberly Price and Justin Chambers were reading a story about approval ratings for the U.S. Congress, the system went down prompting Chambers to choose pantomime to illustrate the story while Price read.

“They got in my ear at the last second and said ‘the computer is down’ so I just winged it,” said Chambers. “It was one of those spur of the moment type things. It happens weekly on our show!”

The station’s bad luck may have been good luck for those watching. Chambers skirted the boundary between bad taste and downright funny with his impersonations of Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and Lindsay Lohan. Check out the video above.
