On the Move, 4/19/11

Allison Latos joins Charlotte’s WSOC-WAXN as an anchor-reporter. Latos previously worked for Cox’s WTOV in Steubenville, OH, where she anchored the noon, 5, and 6 p.m. newscasts.

Reporter Kathryn Burcham moves from Dayton’s WHIO to Charlotte’s WSOC-WAXN. During her time with WHIO, Burcham won a Murrow Award for investigative reporting.

Jane Slater joins Dallas’s WFAA after a stint with crosstown rival KTVT. She will deliver traffic reports for WFAA’s 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts.

Reporter Alyssa Chin is now a member of the KKTV news team. She joined the Colorado Springs CBS-affiliate last month after working for KIFI in Pocatello, ID.

On the Move, 3/30/11

Kathryn Burcham joins the reporting team at WSOC in Charlotte, NC. Burcham comes to WSOC from their Cox sister station, WHIO in Dayton where she has been a general assignment reporter since 2008.

Melissa Andrews, a former reporter-anchor with Toledo ABC-affiliate WTVG, is joining local PBS station WBGU as the new host of “Northwest Ohio Journal,” a weekly public affairs show.
