On the Move, 1/8/13

Tanja Babich joins WLS in Chicago as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Babich was previously the morning anchor at WSYR in Syracuse.

Kelcey Carson joins KMSP, the Fox owned station in Minneapolis, as a weeknight anchor. Carson comes from Raleigh, where she was a morning anchor at WRAL.

Meteorologist Angela Buchman joins WTHR in Indianapolis from rival WISH.

Ken Molestina joins KTVT in Dallas as a weekend anchor. He previously was a reporter at WUSA in Washington, D.C.

Frank Wiley joins WGCL in Atlanta as weekday morning anchor. Wiley comes from KOKI in Tulsa.

Dallas CBS Station Adds Anchor/Reporter from Washington, D.C.

molestina_croppedKen Molestina will join Dallas CBS owned station KTVT as an anchor and reporter.

Molestina comes from WUSA in Washington, D.C. where he was a reporter. Before that he worked at KVIA in El Paso, TX. While in El Paso, Molestina was a volunteer firefighter for the West Valley Fire Department in El Paso County. He has also worked at TV and radio stations in Gainesville, FL.

His first day will be January 6, 2014.

On the Move, 1/11/11

Christina Loren headed back to her native California to become the morning meteorologist for KNTV, the NBC-owned station in the San Francisco Bay Area, after 3 years at Miami’s WFOR.

Baron James joined WPLG in Miami as its weekday morning anchor. Previously, he was an anchor-reporter at KDFW in Dallas.

Nelly Carreno joins New England Cable News in Boston as a meteorologist.  Previously, she was a meteorologist and entertainment host for WSNS, the Telemundo station in Chicago.

Ken Molestina makes an 88 market leap from El Paso, Texas, where he was a reporter at KVIA, to reporter at WUSA in Washington, D.C.

Chris Miller is now the weekend sports anchor at KOMO in Seattle.  He moves from KESQ in Palm Springs where he was the sports director.
