Kendall Herold Gets New Gig at WXIX After Last Year’s DUI Arrest

The day after Christmas last year, we wrote about Kendall Herold, then a reporter for Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO, who was arrested for a DUI. Herold left the station a few months after her arrest and has been laying low ever since.

Now, Herold is back in action. Earlier this month, she joined Cincinnati FOX affiliate WXIX as a reporter. Check out her Facebook announcement above.

Cincinnati Reporter Busted for DUI

WCPO KENDALL MUG_1387920874381_1701845_ver1.0_640_480Kendall Herold, a reporter for Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO, has been arrested for DUI.

The station reported the news on its website saying she was released from jail last Thursday morning after being arrested last Wednesday night.

A check of the website tveyes by TVSpy showed news of Herold’s arrest first appeared on the station’s air on Christmas Eve, six days after it happened.

According to NewsBlues, the station first reported the arrest only after they checked with the station for comment.

TVSpy has asked WCPO for comment but has not heard back yet.

Moving back to her hometown of Cincinnati, Kendall Herold joins WCPO as a multimedia journalist. She was previously an anchor at WGXA in Macon, GA.

Cate Cauguiran, morning anchor at KTVL in Medford, OR, is joining KPIX in San Francisco as a freelance reporter.

Rita Marcocci has been named vice president and general sales manager of WFLD-WPWR in Chicago. She previously served in the same role at Fox Station Sales in New York.

Former Bay News 9 reporter Melanie Snow has joined the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, where she will be the community outreach and crime prevention media coordinator.
