Sports Director Mike Foss Out at KMEG-KPTH

Sports director Mike Foss has parted ways with KMEG-KPTH, the CBS and Fox affiliates in Sioux City, Iowa.

Foss has been the KMEG-KPTH sports director for more than two years. He was last on the air during the 10 p.m. newscast Thursday.

Jordan Furbee, who anchors the station’s 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts, will replace Foss as sports director.

“Jordan’s work as a co-anchor on our evening newscasts was exemplary, but his true love and passion is sports,” general manager Steve Scollard said in a statement. “Jordan brings an enthusiasm and passion to sports coverage and reporting that is unmatched in the region and we are fortunate to have someone of his talents take over our Sports Division.
