Reporter Latoya Silmon Joins KDFW From KTUL

Latoya Silmon is joining KDFW, the Fox O&O in Dallas, as a general assignment reporter.

Silmon, a Dallas native, most recently worked as an anchor and reporter at KTUL in Tulsa. She begins November 5 as a reporter for KDFW’s morning newscast.

“It’s a dream come true to be able to return to my hometown and work for FOX 4,” Silmon said in a statement. “I can’t wait to get started telling the stories of the community that shaped the person and professional I am today.”

Man Arrested for Double Homicide Interviewed by KTUL at Murder Scene

A man suspected of taking part in an execution-style double homicide was interviewed by a KTUL photojournalist just hours before he was arrested yesterday.

“I think it’s real crazy,” Darren Price told KTUL reporter Latoya Silmon (video above). “I bring my kids out here to play. You gotta raise the question, is it safe to even walk around this town?” Read more
