The Captain loudly joined the Columbia, SC, CBS affiliate’s weather anchor on-screen by doing an age-advanced impersonation of Robin Williams complete with shouting, bouncing around and finally singing a quick birthday ditty that ended with “Get me out of here! Exit stage right.”

The car wreck icon in the background map pretty much summed up the entire episode, with the surprised meteorologist unable to get a word in edgewise over the boisterous Captain.

“Amy, did that scare the heck out of you?” asked morning anchor Lauren Talarico. “It almost gave me a heart attack,” said Aaronson. You can watch the video after the jump. continued…

WLTX reporter Ashleigh Messervy couldn’t get off set fast enough and got caught on camera wearing her gym clothes during the Columbia, SC, CBS affiliate’s morning news show.

“We just saw Ashleigh Messervy run through the background,” said Lauren Talarico.  Messervy could be seen racing through the background of a two shot with anchors Lionel Moise and Lauren Talarico.

“Come back,” Talarico told Messervy who can be heard off-set saying, “OK. I have never done this without any make up on.  But…” Messervy then walked between the two anchors and waved hello to viewers while clutching what looked like a pony keg of coffee.  After Moise explained away Messervy’s choice of attire, Talarico said, “Thank you for the coffee Messervy.”  Giving a viewers a hint about what Messervy was doing on set with such a large amount of coffee.
