KARK Adds Husband and Wife Anchor Duo

KARK, the Nexstar owned NBC affiliate for Little Rock, AR, has announced the addition of two anchors who are also married to each other.

Starting in September, Ashley Ketz will join Bob Clausen on the 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. newscast. Ketz replaces Jessica Dean who was recently named anchor at KYW in Philadelphia. Also joining the station in September is Ketz’s husband, Aaron Nolan, who returns to KARK as co-anchor of “Arkansas Today,” the station’s noon newscast. He will anchor alongside Mallory Hardin.

“We couldn’t be more excited about welcoming Ashley home to Arkansas,” said KARK news director Austin Kellerman.  “Ashley has done a standout job since joining Nexstar Broadcasting’s station in Springfield.  It’s a natural transition for her to return home and help lead our team in Little Rock.” Read more

The show will be anchored by KARK anchor Mallory Hardin and meteorologist Greg Dee. Reporters from all four stations will contribute on a daily basis. Read more
