Mike Lewis Named VP-GM of KTBC in Austin

Mike Lewis has been named vice president and general manage of KTBC, the Fox O&O in Austin. His appointment is effective immediately.

Lewis joins KTBC from another Fox O&O, KRIV in Houston, where he has been the vice president and general sales manager for four years.

“Mike has done a stellar job in leading our Houston sales team,” Fox Television stations CEO Jack Abernethy said in a statement. “His extensive knowledge of the broadcast industry and strategic approach to our business make him the ideal choice as we look to maintain and grow KTBC’s position in the Austin market.”

Lewis replaces Mark Rodman, who joined Fox O&O KSAZ in Phoenix as general manager last month.

Mark Rodman Named GM At KSAZ in Phoenix

Mark Rodman has been named general manager of KSAZ, the Fox owned-and-operated station in Phoenix.

Rodman joins KSAZ from KTBC, the Fox O&O in Austin, where he has been the general manager since 2008. He will report to Fox Television Stations CEO Jack Abernethy in his new role, which is effective immediately.

Prior to joining KTBC, Rodman held positions as both the local and national sales managers at KTVX in Salt Lake City. He began his career in television as a reporter and producer at WPTA in Fort Wayne, IN.

Rodman replaces Pat Nevin, who left KSAZ in August to become general manager of KFMB, the CBS-affiliate San Diego.
