Mike Headrick, Dave McCann Set to Debut on KSL

In the wake of Bruce Lindsay‘s retirement from KSL, the station has announced there will be three anchors on the evening newscasts, beginning tonight.

Mike Headrick Set to Join KSL From KDVR

Mike Headrick is joining KSL in Salt Lake City from KDVR in Denver.

Headrick will make the move from KDVR immediately after the May sweeps period concludes, he tells TVSpy. He will anchor the 5 p.m. newscast and be an investigative reporter for KSL. He takes over for Bruce Lindsay, who is set to retire this summer after 34 years with the station.

Headrick is the morning anchor at KDVR. He will be replaced by Nick Emmons.

Nick Emmons Joins KDVR as Morning Anchor

Nick Emmons is joining KDVR, the Fox-affiliate in Denver, as morning anchor.

Emmons joins the station from KION in Salinas, where he was also a morning anchor. He replaces Mike Headrick, who is leaving for Salt Lake City, according to the Denver Post. Headrick joined KDVR from KUTV in Salt Lake City in 2009.

The Denver Post also reports KDVR has hired sportscaster Kami Carmann from rival KMGH, the ABC-affiliate in Denver.
