The Cincinnati Enquirer is hosting its own ‘March Madness’ tourney. The paper is asking readers to vote for their “TV Anchor Dream Team.”

Who’s the Cincinnati Anchor Dream Team?  You can help select it by voting below in my bracket-style tournament with 8 male anchors, 8 female anchors, 8 meteorologists and 8 sports anchors.

Obama Talks Energy in Latest Round of Local Press

President Obama did another round of local interviews yesterday, sitting down with eight stations from the Orlando, Cincinnati, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, Des Moines, Las Vegas and Pittsburgh markets.

The interviews lasted about five minutes each and focused mostly on gas prices and energy policy. “As long as gas prices are going up, people are going to feel like I’m not doing enough and I understand that,” Obama told WFTV’s Greg Warmoth. “Ultimately, though, there’s no silver bullet here.”

The interviews were granted to three ABC affiliates, two CBS affiliates and two NBC affiliates. Adriana Arevalo‘s interview was broadcast on 18 Univision affiliates. Video inside…. Read more

WKRC Anchor Rob Braun Films Scene for New George Clooney Movie

Veteran WKRC anchor Rob Braun rubbed elbows with George Clooney this week as he filmed scenes for Clooney’s upcoming political thriller “The Ides of March,” which is currently shooting in the Cincinnati area.

Braun plays a local reporter in the movie and even has a few lines.  A handful of WKRC photojournalists, as well as some of the station’s news vans, were part of a scene filmed at Ohio University.

According to his WKRC bio, Braun comes from a show business family and has acted in a few TV commercials.
