Nash was remembered by the morning news team of entertainment reporter Sam Rubin, anchors Chris Schauble, Megan Henderson and meteorologist Henry DiCarlo. Though, most of the discussion seemed to center around Nash’s wife, Barbara Lopez-Nash, who is the head of HR at the station.
Before coming to KTLA in September 2000, Nash was the Washington, D.C. reporter for Tribune’s stations. He started his career in Denver. He’s also worked in Idaho, Santa Barbara, and Las Vegas, before moving back to Denver.
On his station bio, Nash said, “KTLA is “the best place I’ve ever worked — the most talented group of people in this ever-changing news industry. This is the best TV station in America, and I’m proud to be a part of the Channel 5 family.”
