WDSU Adds Morning Anchor, Moves Another

divins_rousseauCharles Divins is joining WDSU next Monday as a morning anchor.

“We’re delighted to welcome Charles to the WDSU family,” WDSU president & GM Joel Vilmenay said in a statement.

The addition of Divins to the New Orleans NBC affiliate means Sula Kim will move to 4:00 p.m. with Camille Whitworth.

Divins was co-host of nationally syndicated show The Daily Buzz and joins Randi Rousseau (pictured) on WDSU News This Morning.

John Schriffen joins ABC News as a New York-based correspondent. He was previously a general assignment reporter for WRC in Washington, DC.

Robert Moses signs on as a full-time general assignment reporter at WNYW in New York City. Previously, he was a reporter at KSTP in Minneapolis.

Sula Kim to Join WDSU as Morning Co-Anchor

Sula Kim is joining WDSU, the NBC-affiliate in New Orleans, as a morning anchor.

She will be paired with Randi Rousseau, who currently anchors solo in the mornings. Kim will join the station after the May ratings period.

“Mornings are special in New Orleans, and we think she’s a truly special person … and a tremendous addition to our news team,” WDSU news director Jonathan Shelley said in a statement.

Kim has worked at WVEC, the ABC-affiliate in Norfolk, VA, since 2005. She is currently the station’s weekend evening anchor.
