Troy Campbell joins WXMI in Grand Rapids from KERO in Bakersfield, Calif. At WXMI, he will be a general assignment reporter.

Lou Castriota joins WGAL in Lancaster, Pa. as an account executive. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of WGCB, an independent station with religious programming and off-network classic television in South Central Pennsylvania.

Campbell is represented by Mort Meisner Associates.

Jessica Porter moves from reporter at Coos Bay, Oregon’s KCBY to reporter at KVAL in Eugene Oregon.

Troy Campbell to Join KERO in Bakersfield

Troy Campbell is joining KERO, the ABC-affiliate in Bakersfield, CA.

Campbell comes from KTSM, the NBC-affiliate in El Paso, where he was a multimedia journalist. The move is a return to California for Campbell, who graduated from California State University in Northridge in 2010.

At KERO, Campbell will anchor the 11 p.m. newscast and report for the earlier newscasts.

Annie Andersen is joining KMSS in Shreveport, LA as a multimedia journalist. She was previously an intern at KTVU in Oakland; this is her first on-air job.

Chase Williams joins KMTV in Omaha from KDAF in Dallas. He will be sports director at KMTV.

James Tully joins WHP in Harrisburg from KOKI in Tulsa.

Troy Campbell Leaving El Paso for California

Multimedia journalist Troy Campbell signed off yesterday from from El Paso NBC-affiliate KTSM.

“I’ve accepted an evening news anchor position in CA,” Campbell announced on Twitter. “I hope you all continue to follow me on my journey.”

No word yet on where Campbell’s new job will be. He is a 2010 graduate of California State University Northridge, in the San Fernando Valley. He began his career at KIFI, the ABC-affiliate in Idaho Falls.
