Veteran WISN Reporter Nick Bohr Heckled by Protestors in Madison
Covering the unrest at the Wisconsin state capital, veteran WISN reporter Nick Bohr has been heckled by protestors who mistakenly affiliate his station with conservative radio station WISN-AM.
“Allow me to correct a misperception among attendees hassling us. Mark Belling’s radio station was sold by WISN-TV’s owners in the mid-90′s,” Bohr tweeted on Friday, referring to the popular conservative radio host who is the face of WISN-AM.
“The two WISNs haven’t been located in the same building for years,” OnMilwaukee columnist Tim Cuprisin points out, “and WISN-AM is owned by Clear Channel Communications, while WISN-TV is owned by Hearst.”
Perhaps taking a cue from anti-Fox News demonstrators, unruly protesters have attempted to disrupt Bohr’s live shots from the capitol, according to Cuprisin.
