Six weeks after being bitten by a dog on the air, anchor Kyle Dyer returned to KUSA this morning (video above).

Dyer, who heard from people from around the world during her time away from the Denver NBC-affiliate, said she hopes her experience has helped raise awareness about how to interact with dogs.

“It’s definitely raised my awareness about how awesome people are,” Dyer said. “I just can’t thank you all enough.”
