A WTVF live shot from the Tennessee State Fair went awry yesterday when a log roller lost his balance and plunged into the water on the air.

Charlie Neese, a meteorologist at the Nashville CBS affiliate, was reporting from the Fair with a log roller named Bruce in the background of his live shot. Bruce remained remarkably balanced for the first minute of the report, prompting praise from Neese.

“Great job, Bruce! You’re looking good up there!” Neese called, seconds before Bruce lost his balance and tumbled into the water. Watch the video after the jump…
