“We are excited to be bringing even more first-rate news programming to our viewers,” Harold Cooper, general manager of WCHS-WVAH, said in a statement. “The addition of the weekday 5 p.m. show will further cement Eyewitness News as the news leader in the Charleston-Huntington market.”
“We’ll be using our full complement of anchors and reporters to cover stories and provide content that matters the most to our viewers,”said news director Matt Snyder. “If you look at the level of experience and longevity our news talent has in this market, it’s clear you’re not just watching quality news professionals, but you’re watching people who’ve lived and worked here for years.”
The station will move “Judge Judy” to the weekday 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. time slot.
