Block Communications’ WDRB-WMYO in Louisville have entered into a shared service agreement with WBKI, the market’s CW-affiliate.

WBKI is in the process of being sold to LM Communications Television of Lexington. Under the partnership, WDRB-WMYO will provide sales, promotion, accounting and HR services, as well as technical assistance to master control operations and engineering, for WBKI. The partnership takes effect immediately, according to a statement from LM Communications.

“The impressive growth and development of both WDRB and WMYO under the guidance of [general manager] Bill Lamb is well-documented, and I have every expectation he and his staff are the right people to help LM Communications Television create a similar success story at WBKI,” LM Communications owner Lynn Martin said in a statement.
