As the results of Wisconsin’s recall election poured in Tuesday night, Scott Walker celebrated victory on Twitter. WDSU anchor Scott Walker that is, not Scott Walker, the reaffirmed governor of Wisconsin.
“Long Day. I’m beat. But back to governing the people of Wisconsin tomorrow!” Walker, the news anchor, posted on his Twitter account Tuesday night. “Go Pack!”
After dealing with a prolonged case of mistaken identity, WDSU’s Walker decided to have some fun on Twitter as strangers mistakenly used his handle to refer to the governor, and his friends played up the confusion.
