WDTN Hires Katie Ussin as Main Anchor
Less than a month after WDTN parted ways with Michelle Kingsfield, its main anchor for the past five years, the Dayton NBC-affiliate has hired her replacement.
Katie Ussin, who has worked as an anchor and reporter in Billings, MT since 2006, has joined WDTN as the co-anchor of the station’s 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, 10:00, and 11:00 p.m. weekday newscasts, alongside Mark Allen.
“I am excited to be here and so impressed with the beauty of Ohio and the kindness of the people,” Ussin wrote on her new WDTN Facebook page this week. “I’m used to good folk, growing up in Montana, so please expect the same thing right back!”
Here’s Ussin’s teary farewell to Billings NBC-affiliate KULR…
