WESH Shifts Wimbledon Coverage to WKCF, Stays with Casey Anthony Trial

NBC affiliates across the country will carry coverage from Wimbledon this week, but the Orlando market’s NBC affiliate, WESH, will shift tennis coverage to their CW-affiliated sister station, WKCF, in favor of continuing Casey Anthony coverage.

WESH will remain in continuing coverage of the Casey Anthony trial, which resumed today after an unexpected stop this weekend, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day this week. WKCF will preempt regular programming in favor of Wimbledon coverage, which is slated to run for a large chunk of the daytime hours, through Friday. (View both station’s schedules here.)

This is the second time this month WESH has preempted NBC Sports coverage for the Casey Anthony trial — in June, they shifted U.S. Open programming to WKCF.
