This month also marks the 25th anniversary of Robin Robinson, who has been there since the news operation launched, at WFLD. “It was really, get it done with what you have,” Robinson said in the station’s tribute video. “Be lean and mean, be creative, be flexible, don’t worry about the old rules, because it was a new day. We had a great time.”
