Brian Monahan — a meteorologist for WFTV, the ABC affiliate in Orlando — is set to fill-in on the weekend edition of ABC’s “Good Morning America” for the next two weeks.

Although he has been a Florida meteorologist for the last five years, the New Jersey native became interested in weather during snowstorms as a child. He joined WFTV last year after four years at WINK, the CBS affiliate in Fort Myers.

Monahan will appear on “GMA” on September 10, 11, 17 and 18, according to The Orlando Sentinel.
