WKYC Remembers Colleague Killed in Car Crash Over the Weekend
Danielle Fink, a WKYC assignment editor, was killed in a car crash over the weekend. WKYC paid tribute to her by speaking with friends and colleagues. You can watch the video after the jump.
“As a friend, she is like the absolute best,” Monique Jackson told the Cleveland NBC affiliate. “You couldn’t find any better person. I mean, so engaging, so warm, so welcoming.”
Fink died when her car struck a tree in the Cleveland suburb of North Olmsted. She had worked for WKYC for 12 years. See the station’s video about Fink inside.
“I, personally, am shocked and saddened at hearing the news about Danielle,” said Thomas Stacho, of the Cleveland Police Department. “And I think I can speak on behalf of the entire law enforcement community, when I say that she will be sorely missed.”
Fink’s funeral will be Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 12601 Shaker Boulevard, in Cleveland.
