WREG reporter April Thompson was working on a story about a recent murder in a small Arkansas town when a man pulled a gun on her.

“We do what we always do in these cases, we go out to find the details,” Thompson told viewers on Wednesday, “but what we found was an angry man with a gun.”  Video inside…

Thompson and her photographer were outside of the house of the murdered man, looking for someone to speak to about his death, when a friend of one of the suspects pulled up. After telling Thompson to leave, and smacking the camera, the man went back to his car and grabbed a handgun.
