WRTV Reporter Asks High Schooler for Her Number

Reporter Chance Walser was playing a quiz game on-air with two local high schoolers when he asked a question that an adult man shouldn’t be asking a teenage girl.

Walser was covering the opening of Indianapolis’s prep football season on Friday and the lighthearted segment took a strange turn when Walser asked an unlikely follow-up question (video above–happens around the 1:45 mark).>Update: Sorry, the video has been pulled from YouTube (even though it appeared to have been posted by someone at WRTV).  Long story short: in clarifying the student’s answer to a quiz question (how many seats in the football stadium?), Walser asked her, “What’s your number?”–a question that led to an awkward on-air moment.
